Independent living programs
Life Choice’s Independent programs are ideal for most age groups, particularly for those aged 18 years and over.
The programs can be tailored to your personal needs, plans and goals, but typically focus on supporting people with disability to build and refine the everyday skills necessary to transition towards, or to gain greater capability and confidence when living independently
The programs cover a wide range of essential and valuable learning opportunities ranging from personal care, communication, numeracy, cooking, home keeping, money management, shopping, work readiness, hobbies and crafts, information & communication technologies and many more.
The programs can be offered on a one-one or group basis, as well as in-home, in regional areas or at one of Life Choice’s modern, safe and well-resourced centres – The Hive and The Shed (Maryborough) or The Hub (Hervey Bay).
We can assist you to identify the programmes that best suits your plans and goals. Support you to assess your likely eligibility and to apply for NDIS funding or other support.
